Ranida Boonrak from the Center of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine (CATTM), Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, being a speaker in the online international conference of the 2nd Jogjakarta Annual Meeting of Pharmacology en Therapy (2nd JAPEMETHE), 2020. It is hosted by Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. This event is held on November 6th, 2020. She gave a speak on the topic “Herbal role in COVID-19 treatment: FACTS or MYTHS?”.

Siriraj – Huachiew TCM Clinic joins the signing of a memorandum of understanding to develop knowledge in Thai traditional medicine and traditional Chinese medicine.
On 12th November 2020, Prof. Dr. Suwannee Suraseraneewong, first deputy dean and director of Siriraj Medical School, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University and Mr. Aram Iamsuree, director of the Huachiew Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Clinic co-signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the two institutions with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pravit Akarasereenont, head of the Center of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, Somchai Jirapinitwong, Dr.TCM., deputy director of medicine and Mrs. Yenjit Techadamrongsin, deputy executive director of the Clinic be the witness of the signing ceremony at Taksila Room, 7th floor of Piyamaharajkarun Building, Center of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine. Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.
The signing ceremony of this MOU organized to develop education, research, academic work, and patient services together with the science of Thai traditional medicine and traditional Chinese medicine including exchange of useful information for the development of the practice of both institutions and to maximize benefit to the patient as well as exchange of personnel between the two institutions to achieve an exchange of knowledge and develop knowledge of personnel of both institutions
Center of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine (CATTM), Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University on the designation as the World Health Organization Collaborating Center (WHOCC).
Siriraj CATTM is now working together with WHO to support WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy 2014 – 2023 in organizing collaborative inter-regional or regional meetings/workshops once a year guided by WHO Regional Office.
Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University would like to announce
the new medical expenses for FOREIGNER PATIENTS, that will be used from
2nd April, 2018.
1. People who don’t have THAI national identification card; or
2. People who have identification number, but the first digit begins with 6, 7, 8, and 0.
1. People who have confirmation of Thai nationality.
2. People who received a work permit from the Department of Employment,
Ministry of Labour and have an health insurance of foreign workers.
3. Migrant labours with social security.
4. Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital’s personnel
5. Mahidol University’s personnel
* Medical expenses increase 25% from announced rate.
