This is a collaborative curriculum between Department of Clinical Pathology and Department of Parasitology, with the following details:
MASTER OF SCIENCE (CLINICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE)
Plan A, A2 Apllicant
- Holding a Bachelor's degree in medical technology, science, or health science that are relevant to the clinical laboratory, or other related fields from academic institutes accredited by the Office of the Higher Education Commission;
- Having cumulative GPA not less than 2.50;
- Having an English Proficiency Examination score as the requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies;
- Other exceptions may be considered by the Program Director and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Plan B Applicant
- Holding a Bachelor's degree in medical technology, science, or health science that are relevant to the clinical laboratory, or other related fields from academic institutes accredited by the Office of the Higher Education Commission;
- Having cumulative GPA not less than 2.50;
- Having experience in the clinical laboratory for at least 1 year;
- Having an English Proficiency Examination score as the requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies;
- Other exceptions may be considered by the Program Director and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
A postgraduate degree holder possesses knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices related to clinical laboratory science. This expertise ensures that clinical laboratory services and management adhere to international standards. They are capable of assessing and selecting appropriate clinical laboratory tools effectively, making informed choices. They can apply, analyze, synthesize, design, and systematically conduct clinical laboratory research. Their systematic approach enables them to improve the quality of clinical laboratory services through continuous enhancements.
