S16 : Simulation in medical education: where are we?
   Simulation is an important learning experience that all medical schools have been implemented in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. With current technological advancement, simulation is more realistic and available in more healthcare situations. In this session, simulation experts will update our knowledge about simulation technology and how to use simulation. Audience will gain many new ideas of how to use simulation in their lessons.

Dr. Ngamjit pattaravit is the assistant professor at the department of anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine Prince of Songkla University. She is also an expert in Medical education and years of experience in facilitation and simulation-based learning in medical students and resident training program.

Currently working as Medical instructor, Department of anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and is also a person of expertise about Simulation-based learning. She is the main speaker in the Training of Siriraj Health Science Education Excellence Center such as How to teach communication skills, How to teach non-technical skills, etc. In addition, she is also many researches and academic articles on medical education.
