โครงการ ศูนย์แลบศิริราชก้าวไกล ส่งตรวจได้ทางไปรษณีย์ SIRIRAJ MAIL-IN LABORATORY SERVICE PROJECT วัตถุประสงค์ของโครงการ / Objectives คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล ได้มีการพัฒนาการ เรียนการสอน งานวิจัย และงานบริการต่างๆ จนได้รับการยอมรับ ในระดับนานาชาติ รวมถึงมีห้องปฏิบัติการ ทางการแพทย์ที่ได้ รับรองมาตรฐานมากที่สุดในประเทศไทย ซึ่งทั้งหมดนี้จะเป็น ประโยชน์ต่อการวินิจฉัยโรค การรักษา การติดตามผลการรักษา รวมไปถึงการสอนและการวิจัยในอนาคตข้างหน้า โดยสามารถ ตรวจตัวอย่างต่างๆ เช่น เลือด ปัสสาวะ เสมหะ หนอง เนื้อเยื้อ และอื่นๆ ทั้งนี้โรงพยาบาลต่างๆ ทั่วประเทศที่มีข้อจ��ำกัดในการตรวจ ขาดความพร้อม หรือขาดผู้เชี่ยวชาญในการควบคุม ท��ำให้ผู้ป่วย อาจขาดโอกาสได้รับการวินิจฉัยและรักษาโรคได้อย่างเหมาะสม และทันท่วงที ซึ่งคณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาลมีศักยภาพ บริการตรวจสิ่งส่งตรวจในระดับคุณภาพที่สูง มีเครื่องมือที่ทันสมัย มีบุคลากรที่มีความช��ำนาญ และมีอาจารย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญดูแล คุณภาพพร้อมให้ค��ำปรึกษาตามมาตรฐานสากล The Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, has developed advancements the areas of education, research & development and healthcare services, achieving the level of international standards. The Faculty has the highest number of accredited laboratories in Thailand, supporting for disease diagnosis, medical care, treatment monitoring, research and education; on various specimen such as blood, urine, sputum, pus, tissue, etc. Nonetheless, hospitals across the country may encounter a number of limitations, lack of readiness and lack of quality control experts, preventing patients to receive timely and proper medical care. The Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital offers laboratory services with high standards employing modern equipment, experienced staffs and teaching staffs to ensure quality and provide standardized consultation. The Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and The Thailand Post realized this priority, then proposed a solution in which The Thailand Post is designated as the specimen collection center to receive and deliver specimen from hospitals and healthcare facilities to the Faculty. The benefits of joining this project include ease of specimen transportation and convenience of patients, as if they were received services provided by the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. At the beginning, the Thailand Post accepts typical specimens required no special temperature controlled packing and handling. Special handling and expedite delivery will be accommodated later. คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล และบริษัท ไปรษณีย์ไทย จ��ำกัด ได้เล็งเห็นถึงความส��ำคัญของปัญหา จึงร่วมกันหาแนวทาง แก้ไข โดยมีความประสงค์ให้บริษัท ไปรษณีย์ไทย จ��ำกัด เป็น ศูนย์รับสิ่งส่งตรวจจากโรงพยาบาลหรือสถานพยาบาลต่างๆ เพื่อรับและส่งมายังคณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล ซึ่งประโยชน์ที่คาดว่าจะได้รับหากเข้าร่วมโครงการนี้ คือ โรงพยาบาลหรือสถานพยาบาลต่างๆ ไม่ต้องเดินทางมาส่งสิ่งส่ง ตรวจทางการแพทย์ด้วยตัวเอง และผู้ป่วยไม่จ��ำเป็นต้องเดินทาง เข้ามารับการรักษาที่คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาลโดยตรง โดยในระยะแรก บริษัท ไปรษณีย์ไทย จ��ำกัด จะรับส่งเฉพาะสิ่ง ส่งตรวจที่สามารถส่งได้ที่อุณหภูมิห้องก่อน จากนั้นจึงจะ พัฒนาการส่งสิ่งส่งตรวจทางการแพทย์ที่จะต้องมีการจ��ำกัด อุณหภูมิต่างๆ หรือต้องการความรวดเร็วมากขึ้นต่อไป 116 รายงานประจ��ำปี 2558 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล
