โครงการ จัดตั้งศูนย์ปฏิบัติการฝึกทักษะระบบจ��ำลอง (SiMSET) SIRIRAJ MEDICAL SIMULATION CENTER FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING ESTABLISHMENT PROJECT (SIMSET) Siriraj Medical Simulation Center for Education and Training Establishment Project (SiMSET) คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาลได้ก่อตั้งศูนย์ฝึกอบรม ปฏิบัติการช่วยชีวิต (CPR) ขึ้นกับส��ำนักงานผู้อ��ำนวยการ ตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2546 โดยมีศาสตราจารย์ แพทย์หญิงสุวรรณี สุรเศรณีวงศ์ ด��ำรงต��ำแหน่ง ประธานศูนย์ท่านแรก ต่อมาจึงได้จัดตั้งศูนย์ฯ ขึ้นที่ตึกโภชนาการ ชั้น 5 การจัดฝึกอบรมของศูนย์ฯ CPR ก้าวหน้าขึ้นเป็นล��ำดับ สามารถ ช่วยประหยัดงบประมาณการจัดฝึกอบรมและยังสร้างรายได้ให้แก่ คณะฯ In 2003, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital founded the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training Center under the Office of the Director of Siriraj Hospital, led by Professor Suwanee Suraseranivongse, MD, as the first director. Later, the Center was established at the Nutrition Building 5FL, advancing the development, saving cost, and producing revenue for the Faculty from fee-based trainings offered. In 2010, the Faculty founded the Medical Gas Division to manage the gas supply system of the hospital, under the Division of Facilities and Environmental Management, and to conduct training on medical gases using the facilities at the Siriraj CPR Training Center, located at the Nutrition Building 5FL. In 2011, the Faculty established the Siriraj Training and Education Center for Clinical Skills (SiTEC), located at the Srisavarindhira Building 4FL, to organize training on surgical skills using cadavers and simulation. Later, a new development was initiated to relocate the Siriraj CPR Training Center, the Medical Gas Division and to build the SiTEC 2, into an adjacent area, located at the Adulyadejvikrom Building 10FL. This was due to similarities of the nature of these three facilities so that sharing resources allow a significant cost saving. With a new management structure, the Director of the Medical School was appointed as the chair of establishment of the “Siriraj Medical Simulation Center for Education and Training (SiMSET)” project, under Office of the Dean. This strategic initiative is a key development for education and academic services of Siriraj, to improve patient care quality and patient safety through skill development of healthcare professionals as well as both undergraduate and graduate students. The goal of SiMSET is to ในพ.ศ. 2553 คณะฯ ได้จัดตั้งงานระบบแก๊สทางการแพทย์ เนื่องจากงานหลักเป็นการดูแลระบบแก๊สของโรงพยาบาล สายการ บังคับบัญชาขึ้นตรงกับฝ่ายทรัพยากรกายภาพและสิ่งแวดล้อม จัดฝึกอบรมเกี่ยวกับระบบแก๊สทางการแพทย์ โดยใช้สถานที่ฝึกอบรม ร่วมกับศูนย์ CPR ที่ตึกโภชนาการ ชั้น 5 ต่อมาในพ.ศ. 2554 คณะฯ ได้จัดตั้งศูนย์ฝึกอบรมทักษะ หัตถการทางการแพทย์ศิริราช (Siriraj Training and Education Center for Clinical Skills: SiTEC) ขึ้น ณ อาคารศรีสวรินทิรา ชั้น 4 ซึ่งในระยะเริ่มแรกจะให้มีการฝึกทักษะทั้งในร่างอาจารย์ใหญ่และ ในสถานการณ์จ��ำลอง ต่อมาภายหลังคณะฯ เห็นสมควรให้ ศูนย์ฝึกอบรม CPR, งานระบบแก๊สทางการแพทย์และศูนย์ Simulation (SiTEC 2) ใช้สถานที่ร่วมกันจึงได้สนับสนุนงบประมาณ และอนุมัติให้ปรับปรุงพื้นที่ชั้น 10 ฝั่งตะวันตก ตึกอดุลยเดชวิกรม เนื่องจากลักษณะการเรียนการสอนใช้หุ่นจ��ำลอง สถานที่จ��ำลอง อุปกรณ์การแพทย์และสถานการณ์จ��ำลองใกล้เคียงกัน เพื่อเป็นการ ประหยัดและใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างคุ้มค่า และมีการปรับโครงสร้างของ สายบังคับบัญชาใหม่ แต่งตั้งรองคณบดีและผู้อ��ำนวยการโรงเรียน แพทย์ศิริราช เป็นประธานโครงการจัดตั้งศูนย์ปฏิบัติการฝึกทักษะระบบ จ��ำลอง (SiMSET) สังกัดส��ำนักงานคณบดี เป็นกลยุทธ์ส��ำคัญยิ่งด้าน การศึกษาและการให้บริการทางวิชาการของศิริราชในการพัฒนา คุณภาพการดูแลรักษาเพื่อเพิ่มความปลอดภัยในการดูแลผู้ป่วย ส��ำหรับแพทย์และบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ ทั้งในหลักสูตรระดับก่อน และหลังปริญญา 114 รายงานประจ��ำปี 2558 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล
