Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital held a Certificate Awarding Ceremony for personnel graduates from ‘English for Communication’ 1/2012 program on May 15, 2012, at 09.00-10.30 am. Professor Prasit Watanapa, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and Director of Siriraj Medical School presided over the ceremony, while Associate Professor Dr. Chirayu Auewarakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations granted the reporting oration, in this regard. All 47 graduates were from 4 different classes: Pre-Intermediate level, Intermediate level, Upper-Intermediate level, and Advanced level. Operated by the International Relations Division and lectured by a foreign teacher, there are 4 available courses annually. Students attend a 2-hour class each week for 3 months. The program is consistent with the Faculty’s policy, enhancing English communicational capability of Siriraj personnel, and the Faculty’s strategy, aiming towards international excellence especially in English communication skills. The program is free of charge, but the student will have to attend at least 85% of the classes. Evaluation tests at will be offered the end of every class.
