The Breast Center was founded by the Breast Foundation under the royal patronage of HRH the Princess Mother Srinagarindra in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.

      1.The Center provides diagnostic services for the prevention of breast cancer in a ‘one stop service’. Patients who come for a mammography and need to have ultrasound imaging or a core biopsy as additional examinations can be serviced right away in the well-equipped Center that has/features up-to-date and standardized devices with a quality control and quality assurance system ( QC & QA System ) as the first center in Thailand. In addition, the center employs radiologists, technicians and nurses who are ready to give advice on how to take care of your breast health and teach you how to check your breast by yourself by the Triple Touch System which is the same as the American Cancer Society uses. The Center was originally located in the basement of the OPD Building with an area of 200 squaremeters in 1995 and was moved to the 7th floor of the 100th year Somdej Pharsrinagarindra Building on 13 January 2004 with the support of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. This new Breast Center can serve more patients. More than 100,000 patients have come for service since the opening in 1995. The Center is also a place for doctors, nurses and radiology technicians to study breast cancer diagnosis.

      2. The Breast Center is spreading knowledge and technology on breast cancer diagnosis and examination by Mammogram, Ultrasound, Stereo Tactic and Mammotome Biopsy to radiologists and radiology technicians around the country. It is also a source of knowledge on breast cancer and its early detection for doctors and the public.
