     Chulabhorn Bone Marrow Transplantation Center is the first Bone Marrow Transplantation Center in Thailand under the royal patronage of Professor Doctor HRH Princess Chulabhorn Valailuck who graciously donated her funding from Chulabhorn Foundation to establish the Center on 18 July 1988. The Center renders the treatment services of stem cell transplantation from bone marrow, blood and blood from placenta to the patients age 15 years and up who are suffering from hematologic diseases like aplastic anemia, Thalassemia, acute or chronic Leucemia, Lymphoma or Lymph node cancer, Plasma cell cancer or Multiple Myeloma, Immunodeficiency and Autoimmune diseases. Besides these, stem cells can be used for other treatments in non-hematologic areas.

     How to receive treatment in the Bone Marrow Transplantation Center:
     The Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit renders services only to pediatric patients aged 1 month to 15 years whose diseases are Anemia (cases in which the bone marrow fails to work), Thalassemia, Cancer Anemia and other types of cancer.

     How to receive treatment: .
     1. Contact an officer to make a new hospital card at the medical record room, 1st floor of Princess Mahachakri Building.
     2. See the doctor at the Hematology Unit, 1st floor of Princess Mahachakri Building. After the examination and if an admission is necessary, a nurse at the OPD examination room will contact a nurse at the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit and will inform the patient and his family about hospital regulations and the treatment process.
