“Siriraj debut surgery project curing 200 cases of indigent patient with Cheiloschisis and Palatoschisis”

On January 22, 2013, Clinical Professor Udom Kachintorn, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital presided over “Siriraj debut surgery project curing 200 cases of indigent patient with Cheiloschisis and Palatoschisis to celebrate the 85th birthday anniversary of His Majesty the King, 80th birthday anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen and 60th birthday anniversary of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Thailand”. The project announcement consisted of Professor Supakorn Rojananin, chairman of Department of Surgery, Clinical Professor Apirag Chungsuwanich, head of cosmetic surgery, and Associate Professor Preecha Soontranan Deputy Dean of Corporate Communications and Social Responsibility, at 2nd floor of Administration Building, Siriraj Hospital.

For the criterion of the indigent patients who will received Chelioschisis and Palatoschisis’ treatment need to be verified by Surgery unit at 3rd floor of Out-Patient Department. The patients need to be evaluated the financial status by the social welfare division of Siriraj Hospital. Only 200 patients, every age and any health insurance will be received the treatment and admitted in ordinary patient ward, can apply for the project by Tel. 02-419-8002 from now on.
